England 1978. Peter Austin begins craft brewing at Ringwood Brewery in William the Conqueror's hunting playground the New Forest. His specialized small batch brewings become a sensation. Today Peter is often regarded as England's Fritz Maytag (Anchor Brewing's founder and innovator).
Michigan 1996. Timothy Suprise founds Arcadia in the "Midlands" of Michigan purchasing an authentic 25 barrel Peter Austin brewing system.
In their 12 years Arcadia has kept craft craft, brewing only small batches and employing authentic English ingredients and methods. This Wednesday we offer an Arcadia lineup rich in Old World style and taste.
